Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.The Indonesian National Police (INP) assured that complaints regarding a search operation at the Hamalatul Quran Islamic Boarding School in Sukoharjo, Central Java, will be investigated objectively and professionally through internal oversight mechanisms.

"We view public feedback as essential material for improvement and evaluation. Internal oversight functions, including the Profession and Security Division, will follow up on received reports to ensure all police actions remain fully accountable," said INP Head of Public Relations Head Inspector General Johnny Eddizon Isir on Sunday (1/11/2026)

Her explained that the search was conducted by the Central Java Regional Police as part of an investigation into a restaurant arson and property destruction case in Sukoharjo on 12 September 2026, as reported by antaranews.com. 

Central Java Police deployed female officers (Polwan) alongside the Sukoharjo Women and Children Protection Unit (UPTD PPA) to ensure the safety and psychological well-being of female students on site. Furthermore, non-evidence items have been returned to legal counsel, and police initiated constructive dialogue with local religious leaders at Pondok Pesantren Al-Mukmin Ngruki to maintain transparent institutional communication.
