Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Food Task Force ensures the distribution of primary supplies anticipates the increase in demand ahead Eid Al-Fitr. In response to the anticipation, police will intensify stock and distribution monitoring.
“We are anticipating the increase in demand for rice, chicken egg, and cooking oil due to increased public consumption in Ramadan," said Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko on Friday (3/15/2024).
According to the INP Public Information Division Chief, the distributors are supplying the primary supplies to markets to meet the demand of upcoming weeks.
“We are guaranteeing smooth distribution, stable price, and stock availability,” continued Trunoyudo.
Moreover, the food task force has coordinated with INP Traffic Corps to ensure smooth travel of food trucks. With that, the food distribution from the central production area to the markets will be undisturbed.
