The commitment was made during a meeting between ITUC Secretary-General Luc Triangle and INP Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo at the INP Headquarters in Jakarta on Monday (10/11/2025).

He noted that the INP’s Labor Desk has worked with the Ministry of Manpower, labor unions, and several companies in Cirebon, West Java, and Brebes, Central Java, to rehire 2,275 laid-off workers.
“In the future, there is potential for up to 70,000 new jobs,” Chief Sigit added.
The INP also engages closely with labor communities through joint events, including Labor Day celebrations and social programs, reinforcing its commitment to a fair and stable labor environment.
