Inp.polri.go.id - Papua. The Tolikara Sub-Regional Police, under the leadership of Police Superintendent Achmad Fauzan has initiated an Environmental Greening Program in the vicinity of the Tolikara Sub-Regional Police Headquarters, on Wednesday (20/9/23).
He explained that this is part of the Indonesian National Police's (INP) initiative directed by the Chief of INP to preserve the environment. Under this program, 1000 tree seedlings will be distributed to all Sub-Sectors Police within the Tolikara Sub-Regional Police.
"This program reflects the commitment of the INP in environmental preservation and involves all members of the Tolikara Sub-Regional Police, as well as inviting the entire community to participate in this positive initiative to nurture and preserve the environment from an early age throughout Indonesia," he stated.
Tree planting not only benefits the environment but also has a positive impact on the overall health of the environment and ensures the continuity of life on earth for future generations. In the near future, tree planting activities will be carried out throughout the Tolikara Regency, he added.
"Through this initiative, the INP reaffirms its commitment to environmental preservation and invites all segments of society to participate. Community support and participation are crucial in realizing our common goal of safeguarding and nurturing the earth we inhabit. Let's protect nature for a better future for our planet," he concluded.
