inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) and the Attorney General's Office (AGO) are strengthening synergy by enhancing partnerships and collaboration between the two institutions.

This strengthening was discussed during a visit by INP Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, along with several senior officials, to Attorney General ST Burhanuddin and his staff at the AGO Main Building in Jakarta.

"Of course, all of this is to continue to provide a sense of justice for the public who need legal services," said General Sigit on Monday (7/13/2026).

He revealed that the meeting discussed plans for educational exchanges between the AGO and INP to improve overall coordination, particularly within the criminal justice system.

He hopes that the synergy and collaboration between the two law enforcement institutions will help the public who need legal services, both in terms of legal certainty and justice.

"What is clear is that the Prosecutor's Office and the police are one big family, and we will continue to ensure that this family maintains its solidarity and synergy. Perhaps that is what we will continue to implement together with the Attorney General for our future programs," explained General Sigit.

Meanwhile, Attorney General ST Burhanuddin emphasized the importance of strengthening the long-standing synergy between the two institutions. According to him, good investigations will result in good prosecutions, and good prosecutions will result in good verdicts.

"That is our obligation, our obligation to synergize," he said. Burhanuddin also dismissed rumors that INP and the Prosecutor's Office are in conflict.
