inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police is collaborating with Pegadaian (the state pawnshop) to verify the quality of gold bars seized in the alleged corruption and money laundering (TPPU) case involving the former Attorney General's Office (AGO) Special Crimes Directorate, Febrie Adriansyah.

The gold bars were seized during a search operation by the Indonesian National Police (INP)’s Anti-Corruption Corps and the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police Special Criminal Investigation Directorate.

"Regarding the handover and follow-up of the case, the evidence will be subjected to laboratory testing by Pegadaian," explained the Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police, Senior Superintendent Budi Hermanto, on Monday (7/13/2026).

The Head of Pegadaian's Geophysical Laboratory Department, Rubika, added that the 74 kilograms of gold, each weighing one kilogram, will be tested.

"We at PT Pegadaian will conduct technical testing on the gold evidence that we have already conducted initial tests. There are 74 gold bars, each weighing approximately one kilogram," Rubika said.

Rubika added that the authenticity identification process will focus on the grade and exact weight. The pawnshop's inspection results will be submitted as evidence in the case.
