INP Mobilize Sartika Asih Hospital for Train Crash Victims in Bandung

Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Indonesian National Police (INP) is set to use its Sartika Asih Bhayangkara Hospital to assist in the medical treatment of victims involved in the fatal train accident between the Turangga and Commuterline Bandung Raya trains in Cicalengka, West Java. "We express our deepest sympathy to the victims and their families. The West Java Regional Police have prepared support, including medical assistance at Sartika Asih Hospital, if needed as a referral for the injured victims," Brigadier General Pol. Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, the Head of the Public Information Bureau  of the INP Public Relations Division on Friday (5/1/2024). He explained that the INP assisted in managing the train accident in Bandung by identifying the victims.  As of Friday, the accident has claimed four train on duty train officers and injured dozens of passengers, antaranews.com reported. The train collision between the Commuter Line Bandung Raya carrying 191 passengers and Turangga Train carrying 287 passengers onboard occurred at the Jalur Petak, Cicalengka - Haurpugur Road, Bandung Regency, West Java, at 6.03 am. General Truno explained that the  injured victims have received medical treatment at Cicalengka Regional Hospital. (mg/inp/pr/nm)
