Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Agency) has arrested A. Hamid, alias Boy, a high-profile drug trafficking suspect belonging to the Koko Erwin network who was previously listed on the most wanted list.

“The fugitive, Boy, was arrested in Pontianak, West Kalimantan, on Tuesday and was transported to the Bareskrim headquarters in Jakarta this evening for further investigation,” confirmed Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, theDirector of Narcotics Crimes, on Thursday (13/3/2026), as quoted by antaranews.com.

The suspect was tracked down to a warehouse in Kubu Raya after attempting to evade authorities by fleeing through Banten and Jakarta under the direction of the syndicate leader, Koko Erwin.

Boy is allegedly a key financial operative who distributed approximately Rp1.8 billion in "attention money" to compromised officers, including a former local police chief, between June and November 2025.

Following his intensive interrogation in Jakarta, the INP plans to hand the suspect over to the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police to face trial for his involvement in the regional narcotics distribution chain.
