Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP)  officers deployed to Solok Regency, West Sumatra, to clear landslide debris, restore access along the main Solok-Padang transit corridor, search for missing residents, and deliver psychological support following devastating flash floods, known locally as galodo.

INP Public Relations Division Head of Public Information Bureau Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko confirmed that the West Sumatra Regional Police dispatched 300 Mobile Brigade (Brimob) officers and a Directorate of Samapta company following Monday's flood.

West Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Djati Wiyoto Abadhy personally inspected disaster sites in Arosuka, Gunung Talang District, overseeing road-clearing operations utilizing heavy machinery, tactical vehicles, and manual equipment.

Concurrently, sub-regional police counseling teams delivered trauma healing sessions for displaced children and families housed at the Deputy Regent's official residence in Nagari Batang Barus. 

Joint search and rescue (SAR) teams continue sector-by-sector search sweeps to locate unrecovered residents.
