inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police will implement traffic engineering during a labor group protest in front of the DPR Building, Central Jakarta, on Thursday.

"We have prepared traffic engineering at the locations surrounding the protest area, whether on South Merdeka Boulevard, the vicinity of the DPR complex, or at other points," said the Director of Traffic Police of the Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Komarudin on Wednesday (8/27/2025).

According to Komarudin, the traffic engineering was carried out to ensure that community activities could continue. In addition, protesters could still express their concerns accordingly.

Moreover, Komarudin added that the demonstrators were urged to continue to follow the regulations when expressing their aspirations. He ensured that the police would further prepare their personnel so that there will be no victims.
