inp.polri.go.id - East Kutai. The Kaliorang Sector Police went directly to the community to hold the Affordable Food Movement (GPM) in front of the Kasawari Swarga Bara Sangata Utara Mosque, East Kutai Regency.
Superintendent Fauzan Arianto, said that in this GPM, 500 SPHP rice packages of 5 kg were sold with a price of IDR 65,000.
"This activity shows our support for the government's program in distributing SPHP rice as conveyed by the Chief of Indonesian National Police regarding President Prabowo's direction relating to the distribution of SPHP rice," said the East Kutai Sub-regional Police Chief, Wednesday (8/27/2025).
Fauzan explained that the GPM was held to help the community meet the needs of affordable essential staple foods directly to the community, thereby reducing the risk of shortages of staple foods.
According to Fauzan, with this GPM, it is hoped that the community can remain economically secure amidst the current economic dynamics. In addition, he hopes that the activities held can bring happiness to the community so that public order and security remain confusive.
"Thank you to the community for the enthusiasm. We also express our gratitude and appreciation to the East Kutai Regional Logistics Agency (Bulog), the Department of Industry, Trade, and Cooperatives, and the Ketapang Department of Kutim Regency for the cooperation so that this activity runs smoothly," Fauzan says in his appreciation.
He ensured that the police force will continue to go down to help the community to provide their best service.
