Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) has reassigned 1,255 senior officers as part of an organizational restructuring.
The reassignments, detailed in six telegrams issued on March 12, 2025, are aimed at institutional strengthening and career development, the INP Head of Public Relations Division Inspector General Sandi Nugroho announced on Thursday (13/3/2025).
“This is a standard organizational process to enhance professionalism and optimize leadership,” he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.
Of the total reassignments, 881 officers received promotions, including Inspector General Anwar as INP Chief Assistant for Human Resources and Inspector General Suwondo Nainggolan as INP Chief Assistant for Logistics.
Ten new regional police chiefs were appointed, including Brigadier General Mardiyono (Bengkulu), Inspector General Rusdi Hartono (South Sulawesi), and Inspector General Nanang Avianto (East Java).
In addition, 57 female officers were promoted, with 10 assigned as sub-regional police chiefs. The restructuring also includes officers entering or completing training, assuming new roles, or retiring.
