The Indonesian National Police (INP) implores public to buy the ticket for ferry crossing the day before departure. “To smoothen movement in port, INP implores public to buy the ferry crossing ticket the day before departure to anticipate the escalation of travelers who would cross the sea,” said the Head of Indonesian National Police Public Information Division, Brigadier general Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko on Friday (3/15/2024). Trunoyudo explains that to anticipate crowding in ports, INP Traffic Corps has prepared delaying system. During its implementation, people will be diverted to rest area until the situation returned to normal. “The implementation of delaying system will be executed by directing people to KM 43A and KM 68A rest areas,” explained Trunoyudo. Furthermore, Trunoyudo reveals that the traffic engineering also prepared by the Traffic Corps.
