inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Head of Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Agency, Commissioner General Wahyu Widada reveals the online gambling case handling for the past two weeks.

“From 5th to 20th of November, we have successfully revealed approximately 619 cases with the total suspects of 734,” said Wahyu.

Wahyu revealed that in that period, his party has educated the people about the dangers of online gambling with a total of 2,420 activities. Then, his party also collaborated with the Communication and Digital Ministry to block 16,355 sites.

On the other hand, the total money seized in the operation is IDR 177,653,433,548, 858 mobile phones, 111 laptops, PCs and tablets, then 470 account books, 829 ATM cards, 6 vehicles, 2 buildings, and 2 firearms.

“From the total of 619 cases uncovered, there are several cases involving foreigners,” concluded Wahyu.
