inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps welcomed students from Muhammadiyah Vocational High School (SMK) Sumpiuh, Central Java, at the National Traffic Management Center (NTMC) building in Jakarta on Wednesday (10/7/2026).

The students were introduced to NTMC, CCTV monitoring, and the use of technology to support police duties and provide traffic information to the public.

The activity was attended by students majoring in Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ). The students had the opportunity to observe firsthand the application of information and network technology in supporting police duties, particularly in the field of traffic.

Khusnul Khotimah, a teacher accompanying the students at Muhammadiyah SMK Sumpiuh, expressed her appreciation to the INP Traffic Corps for providing the students with the opportunity to learn directly at the NTMC.

"We are very grateful to the NTMC. The students and I can learn a lot here, including about traffic and technology related to our major, computer and network engineering," she said.

According to her, the students gained new experiences through introductions to CCTV, applications, and call center services within the NTMC service system.

Furthermore, the system can expedite the delivery of information from various regions, allowing for faster handling of incidents.

"The system is excellent because all data is centralized. When an accident occurs or there is information from a location, the data can be immediately forwarded to the central office, allowing for a faster response and handling," he added.

In addition to gaining insight into technology, the visit is also expected to raise students' awareness of traffic regulations.

Khusnul Khotimah hopes the experience gained during the visit will encourage students to be more disciplined and concerned about road safety.

"My hope for the students and myself is that first, we will be more obedient to the traffic law, and then more aware of traffic regulations, so that our safety will be even more guaranteed," she concluded.
