Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Inspector General Pol. Aan Suhanan, the Head of the Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps, handed over 150 electric vehicles to enhance security operations for the National Capital (IKN) Nusantara on Sunday (5/5/2024). 

The aid consisted of 50 four-wheeled and 100 two-wheeled vehicles, designated for the East Kalimantan Regional Police's Traffic Directorate, according to antaranews.com.

These electric vehicles were deemed essential to meet the IKN's electric vehicle requirement. 

Chief Aan has conducted an inspection of the IKN to ensure the preparation of the East Kalimantan Regional Police for the Independence Day celebration on 17 August 2024. 

Security measures encompass convoy management, route security, and parking. Operational preparations will involve personnel, vehicles, and technology to escort VVIP and VIP guests. 

The security setup distinguishes between VVIPs, under the Indonesian Military control, and VIPs, under the INP.
