Inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Agency uncovered a narcotics distribution network in Tangerang, Banten, seizing 98 cartridges of Etomidate and two grams of crystal meth.
Acting on public reports regarding illegal drugs sent via online delivery services, officers apprehended a 47-year-old suspect, identified as S, in Ciledug on Tuesday (12/5/2026).
"The team received information from the public about the illicit trafficking of Etomidate in the Tangerang area, distributed using online delivery services," said Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, the Director of Drug Crimes, as cited by antaranews.com.
During the raid, police discovered 98 liquid cartridges suspected of containing Etomidate, alongside weighing scales and drug paraphernalia. Interrogations revealed that suspect S acted as a courier for a fugitive identified as L, receiving a fee of Rp 1 million per delivery. The suspect admitted to handling two previous shipments totaling 150 cartridges. Authorities are currently pursuing the primary supplier as the investigation continues.
