inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Agency disclosed a case of gas station fraud in Alternatif Sentul Road, Sukaraja, Bogor for fuel scam operation.

"The modus operandi used by this gas station was to install additional data cables in the current cable block in the machine under the dispenser which is connected to electrical equipment and to a set of modules," explained Special Criminal Investigation Directorate of INP Brigadier General, Nunung Syaifuddin on Wednesday (3/19/2025).

Nunung explained that the set of modules consisted of a mini smartswitch, PCB, two relays, and other additional tools. He said the tools were hidden in an inaccessible place.

The disclosure was made on Wednesday (3/5/2025). At that time, his party together with the Ministry of Trade received reports from the public regarding alleged fraud at the gas station.

“Our investigation began when our unit along with the Metrology Directorate of Trade Ministry and Pertamina visited the gas station for inspection,” explains Nunung.

Currently the gas station has been barred for further investigation process
