Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) announced a comprehensive technology transformation plan on Thursday (11/12/2025) in West Bandung Regency, West Java, to enhance professionalism and precision in public service.
INP Deputy Chief Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo said that technology is now “a strategic necessity for a more professional and precise Polri,” as he opened the INP Technology Expo and Book Review.
“This is a new era for the INP. We are building a modern police force that is technologically independent and trusted by the public,” he said, as cited by antaranews.com.
The exhibition showcased drones for surveillance and evacuation, tactical robots, K9 search robots, anti-jammer communication systems, and data-driven analytical platforms. Polri is also strengthening AI, robotics, digital communication, and investigator capabilities as part of its long-term modernization roadmap.
The INP’s logistics division is developing a national security technology industry to reduce reliance on foreign systems while preparing predictive, AI-based policing to address rising cybercrime.
