Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Ahead 2024 General Elections, people implored not to spread hoax news while also urged to vote. This was stated by General Supervision Inspector Commissioner General Ahmad Dofiri during his remarks in LDII National Working Committee at Minhaajurrosyidiin Islamic Boarding School in Pondok Gede, East Jakarta. “Give your vote and don’t spread hoaxes in your social media. Don’t provoke others, our choice may differ but remember that we have the same goal, which is to advance our beloved nation,” says Dofiri, Thursday (11/9/2023). Dofiri also says public security is the main requirement for state development. For that, the Indonesian National Police (INP) has to maintain the security of government major project while acting against terrorism and social conflict. “The duty of the police is to support in prospering the community. So, it does require a cooperation from all parties to support our effort, because it impossible for us to carry out this important duty alone,” Dofiri adds. In that occasion, he also appreciates LDII for supporting the Police and hopes that LDII would continue to be a better institution, particularly amidst the raging global conflict. (ad/bg/pr/nm)
