inp.polri.go.id - Cirebon. Cirebon Sub-regional City Police, West Java, continues the investigation into the landslide incident at the C-type mining site in the Mount Kuda area, which killed dozens of people.
Cirebon Sub-regional City Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Sumarn said that the investigation into the C-type mining landslide incident in the Gunung Kuda area was still ongoing, including the income earned by the mine owner during operations.
"For the income of the mine owner until today, until the landslide occurred, we are still collecting data," she said.
Sumarni explained that the police had asked for statements from eight witnesses. Then there are two people who have now been named as suspects in the landslide incident at the Gunung Kuda mine.
The Police Chief said the two suspects were the Chairman of the Al-Azariyah Cooperative with the initials AK as the mine owner and the Head of Mining Engineering (KTT) with the initials AK who was tasked with supervising the mine's operations in the field.
A KTT, said the Police Chief, generally has an official certification issued by the relevant technical service.
In addition, investigators are also investigating the extent to which the supervisory function is carried out in the field.
Sumarni indicated that this process could still develop, depending on the findings of further investigations in the field.
"If it keeps developing, we definitely will continue. Whether or not proper supervision was carried out, we are still investigating," she noted.
