Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jaga Jakarta (Safeguard Jakarta) Policewomen and the Central Jakarta Metropolitan Sub-regional Police distributed humanitarian aid and trauma support to residents affected by the Pasar Jiung market fire in Kemayoran on Tuesday (2/6/2026).
“We are here to support residents impacted by the fire. While this may not solve all problems, we hope it eases the burden, especially for families in shelters,” said Central Jakarta Police Chief Senior Superintendent Reynold E.P. Hutagalung.
Aid included drinking water, diapers, snacks, and 300 meals from the Mobile Brigade (Brimob)’s field kitchen. The policewomen also provided trauma healing sessions for children and families.
Chief Reynold said continued coordination with agencies and urged vigilance against fire risks in densely populated areas, encouraging local residents to report emergencies numbers.
