Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) logged 24 neighborhoods in Jakarta were flooded due to downpour and the overflow of the Ciliwung River.
“The current update shows that 24 neighborhoods or 0.078 percent of 30,772 neighborhoods in Jakarta were flooded,” says the Acting Head of Jakarta BPBD Isnawa Adji on Friday (12/1/2023).
The 24 neighborhoods are spread across four urban villages of East Jakarta which are Bidara Cina, Kampung Melayu, Cawang, and Cililitan.
In Bidara Cina, flood has inundated two neighbors with a height of 80 centimeters. Meanwhile in Kampung Melayu, there are 10 flooded neighbors with a height of 30 – 150 centimeters.
Meanwhile, in Cawang there are seven neighborhoods submerged with water as high as 30-170 centimeres and five neighborhoods flooded in Cililitan with a height of 30 – 150 centimeters.
Previously, rain with moderate to heavy intensity hit Jakarta and its surroundings on Thursday (30/11) and Friday, causing the status of Depok Post to be raised on Alert 3 on Thursday (30/11) at 20.00 WIB.
