Inp.polri.go.id - Serang. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps has confirmed that the Jakarta-Merak route, both through toll roads and main roads, is now 98% prepared for the upcoming Eid al-Fitr homecoming in 2024.

The Traffic Corps team conducted thorough surveys from the Jakarta-Merak Toll Road to Ciwandan and Merak ports, ensuring that Rest Areas KM 43 and KM 68 are fully prepared.
These rest areas will implement a "delay system" to manage traffic flow and prevent congestion in the Merak area, Chief Slamet said..
Port officers will conduct ticket checks at these rest areas to minimize queues for ticket purchases.
Travelers can conveniently purchase ferry tickets for the Merak-Bakauheni route online via the Ferizy application.
Chief SlametSantoso emphasized that the port facilities are well-equipped to accommodate all travelers, including motorcycles, cars, and larger vehicles.
