Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU Jakarta) confirmed that the announcement of the Governor and Deputy Governor-elect from the 2024 regional elections will take place on Thursday.

“We plan to finalize the announcement on Thursday,” said Fahmi Zikrillah, the Head of Data and Information Division of  Jakarta, on Sunday (5/1/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

KPU Jakarta will formally invite all election participants, political parties, and relevant stakeholders to the event. The announcement follows the completion of the Constitutional Court’s case registration (BRPK).

On 8 December 2024, KPU declared Pramono Anung and Rano Karno as winners with 2,183,239 votes, defeating Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (1,718,160 votes) and Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana (459,230 votes).

All of the pairs participating in the Jakarta election have received formal notification about the ceremony.
