Inp.polri.go.id - Jambi. Nine personnel from Battalion C Pioneer of the Jambi Regional Police Mobile Brigade (Brimob) unit officers responded swiftly to extinguish a forest and land fire in Bedaro Rampak Village, Tebo Regency, on Sunday (30/8/2026).

Led by Company Commander Assistant Senior Inspector Marulitua Sinaga, the team began operations at 12 pm to suppress the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby residential areas.

"Jambi Police work to extinguish fires and prevent them from threatening public activities," said Jambi Police Head of Public Relations Senior Superintendent  Erlan Munaji.

He also urged the public to avoid clearing land by burning and to report hotspots immediately to support early prevention efforts.
