Jambi Regional Police held national rally along with politic party, community organization, and college students to declare a safe 2024 General Elections. “The declaration aims to solidify the unity of the state. We are sure that with the unity of the state, the contestations of 2024 General Elections would go safely and peacefully,” says Jambi Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Rusdi Hartono quoted from Antaranews on Saturday (11/11/2023). He emphasized that all declaration participants to commit to their vow and implement it during the election. “Our unity is constantly faced with various challenges, one of which are the potential division during the contestations of 2024 election," explained the regional police chief. The National rally and the joint declaration of safe 2024 Elections is aimed to sparks the fire of optimism in people and also to solidify state unity. So far, the election situation in Jambi is all under control. However, the police chief still urged his party and related stakeholders to stay vigilant and secure the regions. (ad/pt/pr/nm)
