Joint Forces Intensify Armed Criminal Group Search Following Pilot Glen Murder

inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Damai Cartenz Ops Task Force and the Indonesian Military Force search the Armed Criminal Group following the murder of pilot Glen Malcolm Conning on Monday (8/5/2024).

The Head of Damai Cartenz Ops Task Force Public Relations, Senior Superintendent Bayu Suseno says that the search will be going for at least two weeks.

Bayu noted that the joint forces of police and military have successfully retrieved the body of Pilot Glen Malcolm Conning and rescued 13 civilians from Alama District.

“13 rescued civilians consist of eight health workers, two teachers, and three children,” said Bayu. He explains that the surviving civilians will be the witness of the murder.

On the other hand, Head of Damai Cartenz Ops Brigadier General Faizal Ramadhani says that after the attack and the murder of pilot Glen Malcolm Conning in Alama District, 13 civilians have been evacuated to Timika.

“Evacuation was successfully carried out on Tuesday, August 6th, 2024 using three Bell Helicopters which landed on the Yohanis Kapiyau Timika Aero Modeling Base," he said.
