inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The joint team of West Sumatra Regional Police, Padang Sub-regional City Police, Indonesian National Army, and Civil Service Police held a massive patrol to anticipate brawls and illegal racing on several vulnerable locations in Padang City on Sunday (7/13/2025).
The Intensified Official Activities (KRYD) was led directly by the Head Ops of West Sumatra Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Muhammad Erwin and followed by various security forces.
The rally of KRYD was held at Padang Sub-regional Police HQ before the forces were spread into the pointed locations, including Bukit Putus, Air Pacah Bypass Highway, Katip Sulaiman street, and Lubuk Minturun Crossroad.
The operation that involves joint personnel will be carried out without firearms. All actions from the personnel will be carried out according to the Standard Operational Procedure.
In the operation, two teenagers were arrested for suspicion of preparing for brawls in Simpang Ujung Tanah. The two of them are Jerry Melion Tnanatan (16) and Dafa Anugrah (16).
From them, police confiscated a Beat Street motorcycle, two handphones, one scythe, and one sharpened wood.
On the other hand, an RX King motorcycle with loud exhaust was secured in Padang Sub-regional Police HQ for the suspicion of illegal racing.
"We are committed to maintaining public order and security, particularly in response to the increase in juvenile delinquency on weekends," said the Padang Sub-regional Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Apri Wibowo on Sunday (7/13/2025).
