"A total of 858 personnel were deployed consisting of 30 TNI personnel, 100 Lampung Regional Police Mobile Brigade personnel, 120 Lampung Regional Police, 608 polling station security personnel (TPS)," said Lampung Regional Police Public Relations Head, Senior Superintendent Yuni Iswandari Yuyun in his statement, Bandar Lampung, Saturday (5/24/2025).
He said that securing the PSU Pilkada in Pesawaran Regency was a priority, to ensure that all stages ran safely and orderly.
"Including the voting process later, and the vote counting," he said.
He said that this security was a form of the police's readiness to guarantee the security of the democratic process in Pesawaran Regency.
"With full force deployment, we ensure that the voting and vote counting run smoothly, without any disruption," he said.
He said that all personnel deployed in securing the Pesawaran PSU have been given directions to act professionally and humanely in the field while on duty later.
With thorough preparation and strict supervision, the Lampung Regional Police hope that the implementation of the PSU can run conducively and democratically, reflecting a shared commitment to maintaining security stability and an honest and fair election process.
"We invite the public to jointly make the implementation of the PSU Regional Election in Pesawaran a success. Let's vote," he said.
