"We unite to maintain unity and brotherhood as a manifestation of the values ​​of the struggle of National Hero Pattimura from Maluku," said Biak Numfor Regent Markus Mansnembra at the 208th Pattimura Day celebration, Friday (5/23/2025).

He said that the momentum of Pattimura Day in 2025 is an important step to strengthen the kinship of the Maluku community in Papua, especially in Biak Numfor Regency and Supiori Regency.

"I thank the Maluku community for being an important part of building Biak Numfor and Supiori Regencies," said Markus.

Meanwhile, Supiori Regent Heronimus Mansoben acknowledged that the Maluku community had made a real contribution to development in Supiori and Biak Numfor Regencies.

This has been proven in the history of the entry of the Gospel on February 5, 1855 on Mansinam Island, Manokwari to Maudori, Supiori Regency and to Biak, is the contribution of the Maluku community.
