President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo issued Decree No. 7 of 2024 on State Civil Apparatus (ASN) Collective Leave in 2024, signed in Jakarta on 9 January 2024, comprising four clauses. The first clause specifies collective leave for ASN in 2024: 1. February 9, 2024 (Friday) for the Chinese New Year 2575 Kongzili; 2. March 12, 2024 (Tuesday) for the Holy Day of Nyepi New Year Saka 1946; 3. April 8, 9, 12, and 15, 2024 (Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Monday) for Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijriah; 4. May 10, 2024 (Friday) for the Ascension of Jesus Christ; 5. May 24, 2024 (Friday) for Vesak Day; 6. June 18, 2024 (Tuesday) for Eid al-Adha 1445 Hijriah; and 7. December 26, 2024 (Thursday) for Christmas Day. The second clause clarifies that the collective leave mentioned in the first clause won't diminish the annual leave entitlement of ASN. The third clause dictates that ASN, who, by virtue of their positions, are not granted collective leave, will have their annual leave entitlement increased by the corresponding amount of ungranted collective leave.
