Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian President Joko Widodo states that he will move office to Nusantara Capital City (IKN), East Kalimantan Province, in July.
“Later in July. I am still waiting for the airport and toll road construction to be completed first,” said the President through press release on Thursday (2/29/2024).
He states, that if the airport and toll road construction is completed, the travel from the airport to IKN will only take 15 minutes.
The toll road will also make the travel from Balikpapan City to IKN from two hours to only 45 minutes.
“So, we truly hope that with the toll road and airport, it would make the airport traffic to IKN become busier,” hopes the President famously called Jokowi.
IKN is scheduled to be officially operated in August 17th, 2024, coincided with Indonesian 79th Independence Day.
