Inp.polri.go.id - Jayapura.  The Jayapura Sub-regional Police have named 15 people  suspects in the case involving an attack on a police officer in Doyo, Jayapura Regency, Papua. "Following the incident early Wednesday morning at BTN Kolam Kampung Doyo Baru, Waibu District, where 31 people were initially detained, investigators have named 15 as suspects, including a married couple who were hosting a birthday party," Jayapura Police Chief Superintendent Fredrickus W.A.  Maclarimboen, said on Friday (1/3/2024). Suspects JM, KJ, MW, PI, YA, AS, HD, YY, SS, YW, KA, JK, and VM are charged under various articles of the Criminal Code, with potential prison sentences ranging from 1 year 4 months to a maximum of 8 years 4 months. Suspects YN (36) and YS (43) are charged under specific articles of the Criminal Code, with penalties consisting of 14 days' imprisonment and a fine of Rp225,000.
