inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian Train Company (KAI) assures there are no space for sexual offenders and continue to carry out effort to prevent the depraved activity.

"We do not tolerate depraved actions in the Commuter Line," said the VP Corporate Secretary of KAI, Joni Martinus, on Saturday (7/20/2024).

Joni highlights that his party will continue to be on the side of the victim and will accompany them whenever they about to report the social misconduct to the police.

In providing comfortable and safe place fr women, KAI has provided a speacial train for women since 2010.

Other special facilities for women are lactation room at the Commuter Line train stations. As of now KAI Commuter Line has 27 lactation rooms at major train stations in the Greater Jakarta area.

The KAI officials also offer their offices for lactation room if the station did not have the lactation room.

Moreover, KAI Commuter also assigning female security officers with hope that the presence of female security officers will provide a sense of comfort for women to interacting, in situations that require assistance or guidance.

"All innovations and service provided for female train users is part of our commitment to be better in serving the public," conclude Joni.
