Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Metro Jaya Regional Police Drug Investigation Directorate has arrested two men with the initials of R (41) and AF (40) for smuggling drugs in Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta. From the arrest, police has seized a 30 kilogram of Marijuana.

Senior Superintendent Donald Parlaunhan Simanjuntak says that the suspects were arrested on Wednesday at 17.30 pm after police got the intel on drugs transaction.

"It's true, on Wednesday July 17th, 2024 at 17.30 pm, the two suspects with the initials of R and AF were arrested in Tanjung Priok Regency, North Jakarta," reveals Senior Superintendent Donald Parlaungan Simanjunrak on Saturday (7/20/2024).

Donald explains that the men confessed that they got the drugs from Medan, North Sumatra. Currently the police is investigating the drug kingpin and the flow of the drug.

"Of the two men, we found and secured 30 kilograms of Marijuana that was packaged with brown plastic bag. We also seized a unit of two-wheeled vehicle and a phone," concludes Donald.
