Kapolda NTB Reviewed the Homecoming Flow at Lembar Port

inp.polri.go.id – Lombok Barat. The Head of the West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police (Kapolda NTB), Inspector General Drs. Djoko Poerwanto, went directly to monitor the situation of the homecoming flow at the Ketupat Rinjani Operation Integrated Security Post at Lembar Harbor, West Lombok Regency. This place is one of the entrances to the province of NTB. "My visit was to ensure that all preparation, starting from the facilities, infrastructure and personnel strength, were really ready to provide security at this integrated post," said Kapolda NTB in a written statement, Friday (29/4/22). He explained that his party, along with relevant stakeholders, had also inspect the vaccination at several security post. This was done to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 during the homecoming season ahead of the Eid celebrations this year. He also appealed to all personnel, both TNI and Polri as well as all parties involved in this operation, to work together in providing security and the best service for the community. "In every task, the most important thing is good and solid cooperation from all parties. So that the security we carry out can run smoothly, safely and well," said the Two-Star General. On the other hand, the Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of Polda NTB, Commissioner Artanto, S.I.K., M.Sc., said that the inspection, which was carried out directly by Kapolda NTB, was aimed at ensuring the readiness of members in the field to provide security and comfort for travelers. "On that occasion, He also gives supplies to the personnel on duty at the Integrated Post as an attention and encouragement for the personnel in carrying out their duties," said Kabid Humas. "There he also had time to review the readiness of 22 ships that have been prepared to sail to Padang Bai and Ketapang," concluded Kabid Humas.
