The event was attended by the NTB Police Chief, Danrem 162/Wira Bhakti, Central Lombok Regent and Deputy Regent, Central Lombok DPRD Chairman, Dandim 1620 Loteng, Loteng Police Chief, Central Lombok Regional Secretary, Assistant II to the NTB Provincial Government, OPD Head, Subdistrict Head, and Village Head. as well as village heads in Central Lombok
NTB Police Chief (Kapolda NTB) Inspector General Djoko Poerwanto said that Central Lombok would soon be the host of a prestigious racing event.
"Soon we will host the 2022 MotoGP event and we must be proud to host this international event, where the eyes of the world will be on Central Lombok district. Therefore, we are obliged to jointly maintain the security and conduciveness of our area," he stated.
Inspector General. Djoko Poerwanto also reminded that even though Loteng is now in the world's spotlight, he urged that they must remain humble. "We should not be pleased with the progress of our region. We must remain humble and keep our area well," Kapolda told the assembly.
The Kapolda also feels grateful for having been assigned and placed in NTB. "I am very grateful since I was placed in the NTB area, which is famous for its religious people and always lives in peace, and I hope that in the future I can be accepted as part of the NTB community, to maintain security and order in this region," he concluded.
