Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Kemala Bhayangkari Foundation held a social initiative by releasing fish seeds to support the food security program launched by President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

The Kemala Bhayangkari Foundation is the social arm of Bhayangkari, an organization of Indonesian police officers’ spouses.

The event, which also marked the inauguration of a new fish pond, took place at the Al-Dzikro Orphanage in Yogyakarta on Friday (14/2/2025).

Juliati Sigit Prabowo, the Chairwoman of Bhayangkari, said that this initiative reflects the foundation's commitment to community development through education, social, and cultural programs.

She emphasized Bhayangkari’s role in advancing the government’s Astacita program, particularly in food security, as reported by antaranews.com.

The orphanage administrator, Wasito, said that the donated catfish pond and 8,000 fish seeds will serve as a training ground for children to develop self-sufficiency.

Meanwhile, INP Chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo reaffirmed Bhayangkara Corps’ commitment to food security during the 2025 the Indonesian Military (TNI)-INPi Leadership Meeting, citing programs like nutritious home gardens and productive land utilization for rice and corn cultivation.
