The National Transportation Safety Committee (KNKT) formed a team to investigate the truth behind the train collision accident in Cicalengka, Bandung Regency, West Java.   “We have formed an investigation team and they are on their way to the location,” says Head of Data, Information, and Public Relation Sub-division of KNKT Anggo Anugoro in his official statement on Friday (1/5/2024).   The collision happened between Turangga train and Bandung Ray Commuterline at Km 181+700 between Haurpugur Train Station and Cicalengka Train Station on Friday (1/5/2024) morning at 06.03 pm.   “The transportation ministry would like to offer our condolences for the train accident in Bandung at Cicalengka-Haurpugur just this morning,” says the ministry spoke person Adita Irawati.   Adita states that the ministry through Directorate General of Railways (DJKA) have deployed a team along with related stakeholders to immediately evacuate the victims.   (ad/ndt/pr/nm)
