inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The National Police Commission (Kompolnas) held a meeting in Grandhika Hotel, South Jakarta to formulate a vision for Indonesian National Police (INP) policies ahead of 2025.
The meeting was filled with deep discussion and presentation from INP and National Development Planning Agency, discussing human resource development and education quality improvement for the police force.
Mohammad Dawam explains that the meeting aims to help the President to determine the directions of Indonesian National Police policy and provide a recommendation relating to the appointment and dismissal of the INP Chief.
Commissioner Yusuf Warsyim and Albertus Wahyurudhanto, in their presentation, recommended the improvement of education infrastructure and curriculum revision to produce the best police members.
Yusuf Warsyim continues that improving the infrastructure and facilities for the improvement of INP human resource is important. Furthermore, Albertus also highlights that education would improve INP human resource quality. He also discussed the education curriculum quality for the police academy schools.
Following the meeting, Kompolnas began the special session to formulate the Draft INP Policy Direction as a framework for INP policy in 2025 to the President. The draft formulation of this policy will be the basis for INP policies in the future, covering Human Resource, funds, and operational aspects.
