Commissioner of the National Police Commission (Kompolnas) Poengky Indarti praised the Indonesian National Police (INP) for working at maximum capacity to ensure security throughout the stages of the 2024 general elections. "This includes during the voting process on 14 February," she said on Friday (16/2/2024). Commissioner Poengky said that Kompolnas monitored the implementation of Operation Mantap Brata 2024 conducted by Polri to safeguard and oversee the democratic process, ensuring it proceeded peacefully and smoothly, antaranews.com reported. Kompolnas carried out supervision by visiting several regional police headquarters to directly observe the execution of Operation Mantap Brata 2024. It also inspected the on-duty police officers in some polling stations  . Regarding allegations of electoral fraud, Commisioner Poengky said that it falls within the jurisdiction of the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) to address such issues. She emphasized that INP has worked tirelessly to ensure the safety and smooth conduct of the elections.
