Inp.polri.go.id - Bandung.  The Head of Traffic Directorate of the Indonesian National Police (INP), Inspector General  Dr. Aan Suhanan, visited the Digital Unified One-Stop Administration System, commonly known as Samsat, at Leuwipanjang Terminal on Friday (16/2/2024). Samsat is a system for vehicle tax payments and registration in Indonesia. "Today, along with the heads of the Central Samsat, I visited the digital Samsat, the first of its kind in Indonesia located in Leuwipanjang," said Chief Aan, who was accompanied by Director of INP Traffic Directorate's Registration and Identification  Brigadier General  Yusri Yunus, He explained that the transformation of services from conventional to digital have significantly facilitated the activities of the community due to services that only take 15 minutes. "No need to queue anymore, just check the vehicle physically from the car, to ensure its legality. People can renew their vehicle registration certificates, pay motor vehicle taxes, and contribute to mandatory traffic donations," Chief Aan said. He expected that digital Samsat can be programmed for all regions in Indonesia. (mg/pt/pr/nm)
