inp.polri.go.id - Pangkalan Bun. West Kotawaringin Sub-regional Police was nominated in the Kompolnas Awards 2026. With the nomination, Kompolnas visits the HQ at Pangeran Diponegoro street, on Wednesday (8/12/2026) to review the innovation brought by the police force.

This activity was part of the 2026 Kompolnas Awards assessment, which aimed to directly observe the program implementation, innovation, and service quality developed by the West Kotawaringin Sub-regional Police.

The Head of the Kompolnas Assessment Team, Yusuf Warsyim, expressed his appreciation for the various efforts made by the West Kotawaringin Sub-regional Police to provide better responsive police services to the needs of the community.

"From this visit, we see quite good efforts from the West Kotawaringin Sub-regional Police to develop services and innovation. This demonstrates the unit's commitment to continuous improvement and providing services closer to the community," said Yusuf.

According to him, innovation within the police force must be accompanied by consistent implementation and provide benefits that can be directly felt by the community.

"Our focus is not only on the form of innovation, but also on how the program is implemented effectively, accepted by the community, and able to facilitate access to police services," he said.

He also assessed that strengthening Precision-based programs is a crucial aspect in driving changes in service quality at the regional level.

During the visit, Kompolnas team reviewed several programs and innovations nominated by the West Kotawaringin Sub-regional Police. The assessment was conducted by examining the alignment between the reported programs and their implementation in the field, including their impact and sustainability.

Yusuf added that the West Kotawaringin Sub-regional Police’s achievement in being nominated for the 2026 Kompolnas Awards is expected to motivate them to maintain and improve various existing service innovations.
