inp.polri.go.id – The Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of the National Police (Polri) has released a statement regarding the plate numbers of “RF”.The Head of Sub-Directorate (Kasubdit) of Vehicle Registration (STNK) of Korlantas Polri, Commissioner M. Taslim Chairuddin S.I.K., explained that the use of that special plate was needed for identification. "There is also no problem with giving the Motorized Vehicle Number Sign (TNKB). It is basically to facilitate the identification of vehicles when they are operated on the road," explained Kasubdit STNK Korlantas Polri, Monday (6/6). He explained that the plates were used to accommodate the interests of government officials. He explained that the plate number is used to support the duties of officials who require confidentiality, security, and flexibility in carrying out their duties. "As long as the secret number is recorded and easily identified, then there is no problem from the police side," he explained. He also considered that the disclosure of the harassment of Justin Frederick, son of PDI-P politicians, by Ali Fanser Marabessy, was made easier because of the RF plate. "The plate number made our identification easily identifiable and made us able to identify the user of RFH immediately," he concluded. It is known that there is an altercation at the Inner City Toll Road, precisely after the Tebet toll gate in the direction of Cawang, on Saturday (4/6) yesterday at around 12.40 WIB, which has gone viral. In this case, the police have named Faisal Marasabessy, who is the son of the Youth Leader of Bravo-5 Ali Fanser Marasabessy, as a suspect and has been detained. For his actions, Faisal was charged with Article 351 of the Criminal Code and or Article 171 of the Criminal Code with a maximum imprisonment of 9 years.
