inp.polri.go.id – Jambi Regional Police Chief (Kapolda Jambi), Inspector General A. Rachmad Wibowo, S.I.K., M.I.K., signed a Cooperation Agreement between the Special Task Force for Oil and Gas (SKK Migas) and the Jambi Police (Polda Jambi) at the BW Luxury Hotel, on Monday (06/06/22). The signing was also attended by the Deputy Chief of the Jambi Police (Wakapolda Jambi), Brigadier General Yudawan R, the main official of Jambi Regional Police (Polda Jambi), the Chief of SKK Migas, Deputy for Business Support of SKK Migas, Rudi Satwiko, Representative SKK Migas of South Sumatra, Anggono Mahendrawan, and Vice President of SKK Migas Operational, Tirat Axis Ichtijar and staff. The Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of Polda Jambi, Commissioner Mulia Prianto conveyed regarding the cooperation between SKK Migas and Polda Jambi in securing vital objects, Kapolda Jambi received brief information from the Deputy that the problems that arise are usually problems that are not related to mining technicalities, but are related to the pre-technical aspects such as the increasing of illegal wells around the work area. "The matters of land acquisition and the problem with the labors are the problems that i convey with all the police chiefs that are present here so that they can help our colleagues at SKK Migas, because this is our agreement between the National Police Chief and the Chief of SKK Migas which the National Police supports all the activity of SKK Migas,” said Kabid Humas Polda Jambi. He also added that Polda Jambi once had handled the cases of PT. Seleraya Merangin Dua at Sarolangun where the locals blockade the road in their protests.
