Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has named seven suspects in a corruption investigation related to credit facilities provided by the Indonesia Export Financing Agency (LPEI).

The suspects include both government officials and private individuals, according to antaranews.com.

KPK spokesperson Tessa Mahardhika Sugiarto confirmed on Wednesday (31/7/2024)  that the suspects were identified on 26 July 2024.

The investigation is ongoing, involving witness examinations and evidence collection, he said.

Further details about the suspects and the specifics of the case will be revealed once the investigation is complete, in line with KPK policy.

On 19 March 2024, KPK started the investigation of the LPEI credit facilities case, which involved financial losses estimated at Rp 3.45 trillion across three corporations.

The KPK is also probing four corporations flagged by the Attorney General’s Office for potential fraud, Tessa said.
