Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Audit Board (BPK RI) Member VI Pius Lustrilanang, responding to a Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summons on Friday (1/12), was questioned as a witness in an alleged bribery case involving Acting Sorong Regent Yan Piet Mosso (YPM) and associates.
Ali Fikri, Head of the KPK News Section, confirmed Pius Lustrilanang's arrival and upcoming examination by the investigative team in Jakarta on Friday (1/12/23).
Earlier on Tuesday (14/11/23), KPK named six individuals as suspects in a Sorong Regency Government bribery case, namely Yan Piet Mosso (YPM), Sorong Regency BPKAD Head Efer Segidifat (ES), Sorong Regency BPKAD Staff Maniel Syatfle (MS), West Papua BPK Representative Head Patrice Lumumba Sihombing (PLS), West Papua BPK Kasubaud Abu Hanifa (AB), and Audit Team Head David Patasaung (DP).
The case originated with BPK's plan to audit the financial statements of Southwest Papua Provincial Government, leading to a special purpose audit (PDTT). The PDTT extended to compliance checks on regional expenditures for fiscal years 2022 and 2023 in the Sorong Regency Government and related agencies.
Following PDTT findings of unaccountable financial reports in Sorong Regency, communications unfolded between Yan Mosso's representatives and the BPK audit team. Efer Segidifat and Maniel Syatfle, representing Yan Mosso, communicated with Abu Hanifa and David Patasaung, who represented Patrice Lumumba Sihombing.
During these exchanges, a plan emerged to provide money to suppress the BPK audit team's findings, with funds transferred in multiple stages at various locations, including a Sorong hotel.
