Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The General Election Commission (KPU) reminds the public to confirms their name in 2024 voters list (DPT) by online. The reminder was conveyed following a viral video of Indonesian in Malaysia who claims that they are not listed in the DPT. “To all diasporas to ensure that your name is among the DPT. You could confirm it only by going to the DPT website,” says member of KPU Idham Holik on Wednesday (1/3/2024). Idham also gave his respond towards the viral video by saying that his party has launched an investigation to ensure the validity of the video. According to Article 125 of KPU Regulation Number 7 of 2022, there are several voters who are not included in the DPT, they are included in the special voter list (DPK) category. Those who are listed in DPK are those voters who are not listed in DPT and additional DPT (DPTb), but met the requirement as a voter. They could cast their voters right on the election day by showing their electronic ID card, passport or travel documents with a residence address abroad. The DPK voters on the day of the election are listed by election organizing overseas on the attendance list at overseas polling stations (TPS) and reported to the Overseas Election Committee (PPLN).
