Police appreciated the public for preserving public safety and order during the celebration of Christmas and New Year Eve, says the spoke person of Central Java Regional Police Senior Superintendent Stefanus Satake Bayu Setianto in Semarang. “Across the holidays of Christmas and New Year Eve, we have not seen any major incident in the main road, toll road, or crowded places during the New Year Eve. The situation was very much conducive and people are easy to work with and we truly appreciate that,” says Central Java Regional Police Public Relations Chief on Tuesday (1/2/2024). Appreciation also given to the media press and Central Java netizens who actively contributes in providing educative and informative news which significantly proven by the awareness of the public in maintaining public safety and order. “Through the reporting from various platforms, both in security, service, and monitoring of traffic, [netizens and media press] continues to support us by providing educational and informative news to the people during Lilin Candi Operation,” says Stefanus.
